What makes Illusions vinyl products different?

All of the profiles that go into our Illusions line of PVC fencing are made from extruders using advanced chemistry and state of the art proprietary tooling and manufacturing equipment. All of the polyvinyl components that go into Illusions fence, deck and railing systems are constructed of scientifically formulated 100% virgin co-extruded PVC compounds. There are no reprocessed fillers added to weaken or compromise color or structural stability.

Illusions brand PVC fencing uses top grade materials from the nation's leading extruders of vinyl products. The materials are a custom blended mix of stabilizers, impact modifiers, processing aids and pigments. Long term weathering studies have shown these products tin stabilized, acrylate modified formulations with high levels of titanium dioxide (a pigment and UV light screener) result in the best retention of color, gloss and toughness.

Our PVC has the industry leading standard of 10 parts per 100 TiO2 (titanium dioxide) to give its vinyl the longevity and performance of a lifetime product.

Illusions profiles go through the following rigid quality control tests:

Frequency: every 1 to 2 hours

Impact Tests

Drop dart (8 pound pointed weight) no penetration at less than 1.4 in lb./mil
Checks for compound formulation and extrusion work level
Frequency: every shift
Water bath at 180 degrees F. for 30 minutes no more than 2.2% distortion
Checks for residual stress
Frequency: every shift

Oven Tests

Air temperature at 300 degrees F. for 30 minutes, no blistering, cracking or flaking
Frequency: every shift
