Product Information 2" x 34" Square Oz Post (Case of 6) Oz-Post model I2-850 is most commonly used in the ornamental fencing market. Oz-Posts have been independently tested to perform well with both iron products and aluminum products. For more information visit the downloads section of this site for copies of testing results. Oz-Post will not void any warranty or cause any harm to your investment. The three sizes of Oz-Posts that are most common in the ornamental market are 2", 2 ½" and 3" square. The corresponding Oz-Post models that are designed for these sizes are I2-850, I25-850 and I3-850. While most of these fencing products offer a reasonable flexibility in post placement some products have a very tight tolerance. For products that have an tight tolerance we recommend moving to the next size Oz-Post and using rapid drying mortar products like Quick-Crete, Quick-Rock or other similar product. This takes makes it easier to locate your Oz-Posts within a reasonable tolerance and allows these products to be successfully installed with Oz-Post. Regardless of what brand of ornamental fencing you purchase Oz-Post can provide the support for your fencing project that will perform as well as the fencing it supports. INSTALLATION: Option 1 – Jackhammer: use the Oz-Hammer model OH-01. No spacer is required with this model. Jackhammers are easy to operate and available to rent at all rental centers in the country. Oz-Post recommends an electric or gas powered jackhammer. Pneumatic jackhammers are also ok but they are often much heavier and unnecessary. Option 2 – Sledgehammer: cut scrap piece of material about 8" and insert into the top sleeve. Strike the material with the head of the hammer to drive the post into the ground.
