Oz-Post® offers two installation options:

The sledgehammer is effective for small projects, and a jackhammer is more efficient for larger projects. A standard electric jackhammer is recommended and can be found at most tool rental centers.

Oz-Post® anchors are so strong that they can be installed with a sledgehammer or jackhammer. For smaller projects (1-10 posts) the sledgehammer installation method is great. For larger projects it is recommended to use a jackhammer to take full advantage of the Oz-Post® exclusive installation features.

To drive your post in with a sledgehammer; insert the corresponding Hammer-Spacer (if necessary) along with a small piece of wood or steel into the end of the Oz-Post® and drive the Oz-Post® in the ground, checking the level from time to time. If you would like to use a jackhammer simply insert the Oz-Hammer™ into the jackhammer and insert the Hammer- Spacer (if necessary) into the Oz-Post®. Once assembled, cycle the jackhammer on and off, check the level every inch or so until the post is driven in to the desired depth. With either option, you can be assured that Oz-Post® will provide a strong foundation for your construction project.
