This is an electromagnetic sensor, which offers 'hands free' operation of GTO/PRO gate openers with a 12 ft. radius of detection of vehicles in motion.

The exit wand is an electromagnetic sensor that detects metal mass in motion providing a 12 foot radius of detection that allows hands free exit from automatic gate operators. The sensitivity of the wand is adjustable for individual requirements. The GTO Exit Wand is designed for residential, agricultural and commercial applications and comes with various lengths. It is compatible with most automatic gate operators utilizing single and dual gates. The GTO Exit Wand has very low power consumption with a wide input voltage range that makes it ideal for battery applications. It is designed to reject line noise of 50 Hz or 60 Hz to improve its detection compatibilities near power lines.

Manufactured by GTO, the GTO Exit Wand is made to work with all GTO swing or slide gate operators made by GTO. It may also be used with other brand operators. The GTO Exit Wand comes with complete instructions for easy installation. Requires no other power supply when using the GTO control box. Powered by the 12VDC battery used to power the operator.

The GTO Exit Wand is ideal for a low voltage system having a current consumption of only 1.5 mA typical. Requires no other control devices such as transmitters or keypads. Can be used in pairs for easy exit or entry. Models available with 100' to 250' cables with a maximum sensitivity range of 12 foot. The range is adjustable from 3 to 12 foot to compensate for conditions to give you a system that will detect any moving metal object such as a automobile or motorcycle.
