Gate Clip Tool

The Gate Clip Tool is used when stretching chain link fence on chain link gates.  The Gate Clip Tool is designed to hold the Gate Clip around the gate frame and when you use the tool it bends and curls the gate clip to tighten the chain link fabric.

How to install a gate clip on a chain link gate:

• Pull the fabric as tight as you can with your fingers, or use a pair of fence pliers for leverage
• Measure where the fabric will meet the frame, and remove any necessary chain link weaves
• Wrap gate clip around tension bar and snap larger end around gate frame
• Use a Gate Clip Tool to tighten gate clip around chain link gate frame.
