Gate Closer, spring-type, 2in x 1 3/8in

The Spring-type Gate Closer is a system for chain link walk gates that uses a spring to close your chain link walk gate.  When your gate is opened, tension is applied to the spring and the closer forces your gate to slowly swing shut.  Best if used with a self-latching gate latch, like a butterfly latch, or Magna Latch.  Check out this link for a wide selection of chain link gate latches that will work with this walk gate closer.

Spring Type Chain Link Gate Closer Installation Instructions

How do I install this thing?

Ensure post hinges and frame hinges are positioned approximately 8" from the top and bottom of the gate post with top hinge pin pointing down and bottom hinge pin pointing up.
NOTE: 2" spacing required between gate post and gate frame

STEP 1
Spread the spring forks around the gate frame, center assembly and secure with 1/4" carriage bolts.
