The 2 alignment legs help keep the hinges square to your gate and hinge post while at the same time adding additional strength by accepting extra screws. TruClose® Regular - Alignment Legs
Most TruClose® models are also available with special Quik-Fit alignment legs. These legs make aligning the hinge on the gate and fence post quick and easy. They also add extra strength to an installation due to the additional fixing points. Suitable for gates up to 55lb (25kg) and able to withstand loads up to 550lb (250kg), there are models available for metal, wood and vinyl gates.
