The DSP-6LP vehicle detector has been specifically designed for solar powered gate applications. This detector will operate on any voltage from 10 to 30 volts AC or DC and draws less than 2 milliamperes while waiting for a car. The power LED blinks continuously once per second to indicate the detector is operating in the low power and fail secure mode. The detector's small size and lack of any switches or dials, becomes the industry's first solar powered "Plug-and-Play" vehicle detector. The DSP-6LP is preset to the normal sensitivity level used in parking/access control applications, and tunes itself to the best operating frequency. This micro-sized detector will automatically adjust its sensitivity level when used on different sized loops.

Environmental conditions are constantly compensated with the DSP-6LP's HYPERTRACK software. The DSP-6LP's inherent noise filtering algorithms allow it to work reliably in any electrical situation.

Features:

• Loop size- Works on any in-ground inductive loop from 20 to 1200 μH.
• Indicators- Separate Power and Detect LED's. The green and Power LED will blink continuously under normal operation. The red Detect LED will turn solid for a vehicle.
• Connector- Easy terminal connections with removable 7-pin terminal block.
• Sensitivity- Automatic which compensates for large loops or large wire lead-ins.
• Output Ratings- Single output, 1 amp relay at 30 VDC Resistive, with relay common, N/O, and N/C contacts are available.
• Loop Failure- The green power indicator flashes slowly if the circuit is open and quickly if the loop circuit is shorted. This detector operates in fail secure mode and will not output a "Detect" for either of these loop failed conditions.
• Power- 10 to 30 volts AC or DC, with approximately 1.5mA (no car and all loop sizes) and less than 25mA with a car on the loop perfect for solar applications.
• Size- Small compact design allows the controller to fit in almost all control boxes. 1.52"H x 2.9"W x 1.56"D
